Glenda Crump

Glenda Crump currently serves as Chief Administrative Officer for the Mississippi Public Health Institute, a nonprofit organization dedicated to addressing public health priorities in Mississippi. As CAO, she is responsible for overall infrastructure development which includes board and staff development, policies and procedures development, resource development and other operational issues. She holds a Master of Communications degree from Mississippi College and a Bachelor of Arts degree in English/Journalism from Tougaloo College. Glenda is a Certified Prevention Manager. She formerly served as CEO of DREAM, Inc. a nonprofit youth substance abuse prevention organization and worked with Friends of Children of MS, Inc., where she directed a program that assisted economically disadvantaged women in starting their own businesses. The program won a national award and was recognized as one of the top ten training programs in the country. She has taught Speech and Business Communications in the Adult and Traditional programs at Belhaven College. Glenda is an in‐demand motivational speaker on such topics as team‐building, organizational change, and personality styles.
