Dr. Angela Stewart serves as the Ryan White Clinical Director at G.A. Carmichael Family Health Center in Canton, MS. Stewart received her Bachelor of Nursing, Masters of Family Nursing Practice, and her Doctor of Nursing Practice from the Mississippi University for Women. Dr. Stewart is an adjunct faculty member at Delta State University in the doctoral nursing program working with students on research and development. She has over 20 years of nursing experience, providing primary care to some of the most vulnerable populations. She has a proven track record of success in creating and expanding existing programs to achieve organizational goals. Dr. Stewart has developed innovative ways to address marginalized populations’ unique healthcare needs seen at Federally Qualified Health Centers.
